The euro zone may not be done bailing out indebted member states, Finland's Minister for European Affairs Alexander Stubb said in an interview with public broadcaster YLE on Saturday. "We are always trying to end the bailout policy in all its forms," Stubb said, but he added: "If the situation calls for it, there might be countries that need help in some form."

The comments from Stubb, a member of Finland's pro-euro National Coalition, come a day after EU leaders at a summit in Brussels reached agreements on banking supervision and the release of aid to Greece. Spain is widely expected to request a sovereign bailout at some point, in the wake of international rescues for much smaller euro zone economies including Greece, Portugal and Ireland. Many Finnish voters have been critical of bailouts, having faced years of austerity themselves. Finland is one of the few remaining triple-A rated countries in the euro zone.
